Mark: Holy shit, that’s a long line of people! Kenneth: If I had a flame thrower, I could clear the way for us. Mark: I don’t think we should even bother getting out of the car. Kenneth: But… but, my life-long dream to be part of Middle Earth! Mark: You do realize there are no Asian hobbits in the book. Or elves, for that matter. Cooking for 12 is a big jump from cooking for 2. Besides making sure that there would be an adequate amount of cutlery available for everyone, dinner should also be carefully planned. Either you end up making too much food, or not enough. Then all you can do is order Chinese take-out. Or pizza. Unless, you’ve rented some dancing monkeys for the night to keep your guests entertained, and make them forget their empty stomachs. Parmesan Garlic ToastBy: on January 09, 2012
I don’t like bread crusts. It’s one of my quirks (Yes Mark, I still believe it’s not some sort of birth defect). My sandwiches are systematically crust-free, so sue me. But I find them offensive. Not to look at – just to eat, mind you. No legitimate reason, no scientific fact to back it up. Jeez, gimme a break – you know, IT’S A QUIRK. I know, still shameful. And wasteful. What can I say, I need medical help. |
