Trash The Dress!?! (zombified)

I so love how our zombie wedding photos came out, thought I’d share a few more on here.  Can you say, FUN???  It was!  Oh heck, it was!

We bought latex & paint from a shop & slapped ‘em on ourselves… does that count as DIY?  And these photos are the ones we took with my trusty point & shoot + GF1.   ZOMG!  I can’t wait to see what awesomeness that the more talented official photographer comes up with!  I’m dying to find out, pardon the pun.  Heehee.

I know this has nothing to do with food, but a girl only gets hitched once in her life (I’d like to think so anyway O_o), so please bear with me.

Jacks Point in Queenstown, NZ.  Amazingly spectacular.

The Remarkables – the name speaks for itself.  I think it’s Mt. Doom in the LOTR series.
Moody, majestic… these mountains make me feel so insignificant, and yet lucky to be living on this side of the earth.

Sinister, so sinister…

I was going for elegant, but somehow I always end up with “horror movie”.

Holy Crap! I scared even myself! The wonders of liquid latex.

When I trash my dress… I really TRASH MY DRESS!

The love of my life.  And after-life.

Work it!  Show me those nice angles, you corpses!

We really are dead meat.

Look ALIVE, people!  Look alive.

Tyra Banks got nuthin’ on me.

Yaaargh!

With my bro.

With Mark’s dad.

You know you got it made, when you have random Asian tourists asking to take photos with you.

Even zombies need a pizza break.

Pizza always trumps brainsss….

You’ve never looked as good in my eyes, Mark.

Woot! Rockin’ that frock, baby!

This is a food blog after all, so I’m compelled to post something related to it, however vaguely.
Mark’s mum presented us with the most awesome wedding cake ever – what can I say, his mum is kickass  AND rock n’ roll.
